At the National University of Samoa to deliver a lecture, “After Tautai: Future Inspirations from the life of Ta’isi O. F. Nelson” for the Speakers Series for the Sāmoan Studies programme, 1 March 2019. O’Brien also gave the director of the programme, Dr Safua Akeli Amaama, primary documents she used for Tautai including digitised images of the original 1928 Mau Petition to the League of Nations she gathered in Geneva.
